Description

• Coordinate and participate in the programming, implementation, testing, and support of web-based projects • Program, develop, and produce data-driven web applications, websites, and mobile apps • Consult with clients and the account team to ensure effective use of internet-based technologies • Debug and problem-solve across various open-source and mobile platforms • Website maintenance and debugging (30-50%) • Building new functionality (40-60%) • Consulting with other team members (10%) • Work on 60+ projects per year • Develop with LAMP solution stack and other latest technology solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline preferred • Strong knowledge of database design and troubleshooting • Strong understanding of software development life-cycle and best practices • Experience with PHP and WordPress CMS utilizing Advanced Custom Fields • Solid experience with at least one other open-source CMS platform such as Magento, Shopify, Joomla, Drupal, etc. • Experience with web-based programming languages • Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure) • Proficiency in a LAMP environment • OOP and procedural programming methodologies • Standard compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Git Version control • Package management and Task Runners (e.g., NPM, Yarn, Gulp, Grunt) • Browser testing abilities using built-in developer tools • E-commerce solutions and methodologies • Experience in development firm/agency environment • Passion for web development • Ability to get things done • Commitment to delivering high-quality projects • Comfortable with both object-oriented and procedural programming • Capable of individual “deep work” • Ability to collaborate with a team • Strong time management skills • Takes direction well and able to make decisions • Strong communication skills • Ability to work independently • Stays up-to-date on latest web technologies • Professional, dependable with solid work ethic • Detail-oriented and dedicated to quality • Self-motivated • Problem-solving skills • Customer-centric mentality
