Description
• Coordinate and participate in web-based projects using LAMP solution stack • Program, develop, and produce data-driven web applications, websites, and mobile apps • Consult with clients to ensure effective use of internet-based technologies • Debug and problem-solve across various open-source and mobile platforms • Work on website maintenance, debugging, and building new functionality
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline preferred • Strong knowledge of database design and troubleshooting • Understanding of software development life-cycle and best practices • Solid project-level experience with PHP / WordPress CMS utilizing Advanced Custom Fields • Experience with another open-source CMS platform such as Magento, Shopify, Joomla, Drupal • Proficiency in a LAMP environment • Experience with web-based programming languages and cloud platforms • OOP and procedural programming methodologies • Standard Compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Git Version control and Package management • Browser testing abilities using built-in developer tools • E-commerce solutions experience • Previous experience in a development firm/agency • Passion for web development • Ability to get things done and deliver high-quality projects • Strong time management, collaboration, and communication skills • Ability to work independently and solve problems • Up-to-date on latest web technologies • Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, self-motivated
