Description

• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot the IBM i Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments • Responsible for quarterly security patches and product releases • Monitor operational performance of the IBM i Products • Monitor capacity/infrastructure to forecast business needs • Troubleshoot and maintain Development, QA, Staging, and Production system configurations • Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation • Troubleshoot performance production issues with the development team • Collaborate with software developers on product teams, operations staff, and other IT staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field • Minimum 2-4 years related work experience • Experience with the following technologies: IBM i Operating System • IBM i, iSeries, AS/400 System Administration experience • IBM Power Server • Problem-solving attitude • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent role • Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring • Proven ability to work as part of an Agile software development team • Ability to coach others • Continuous Delivery/Integration knowledge • Application Development/Coding/Scripting Experience: SQL, Powershell • Hardware Management Console (HMC) configuration and support • SAN replication methods configuration and support • Data replication configuration and support • Experience in software development lifecycle automation
