📋 Description
• Who Are We? Welltech—a global leader in Health & Fitness industry. • Seeking a Privacy Counsel to lead and support legal and operational privacy work. • Drive scalable privacy compliance while enabling business innovation. • Key responsibilities include serving as a subject matter expert on global privacy laws. • Own and evolve privacy-by-design reviews for new products. • Develop and maintain internal privacy resources. • Collaborate with security and engineering on data governance. • Track regulatory developments and translate them into actionable advice. • Partner cross-functionally to support compliant ad tech and international data transfers.
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years of experience in privacy / data protection law (legal or compliance background). • Deep understanding of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other global privacy regimes. • Experience in operationalizing privacy programs, including DPIAs, cookie compliance, and user-facing disclosures. • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. • Comfortable working independently and in fast-changing environments. • CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or similar certification is a plus. • Experience with digital health, wellness tech, or app-based businesses is a strong advantage.
