Description

•Responsible for software development of a Welocalize product •Directly manage software engineers •Assist team members in setting and prioritizing goals •Contribute to product management process •Ensure SDLC lifecycle management policies are followed •Lead technology selection for product development •Design complex systems

Requirements

•5+ years of experience leading large design efforts and managing project teams of 4 or more members •Previous professional experience collaborating with business stakeholders •Experience shipping code in an agile SDLC •Previous experience in performance analysis and benchmarking •Able to apply continuous integration, develops, and automated testing concepts •Knowledge of multiple frameworks, paradigms, languages, and trends in the relevant domain •Strong interpersonal skills: teamwork, able to learn new skills quickly, excellent written and verbal communication skills •Ability to lead and mentor other members of the Software Development team •Strong understanding of design patterns •Knowledge of asynchronous programming, queuing, caching, logging, security, and persistence •Familiarity with user interaction design best practices •Practical knowledge of algorithms, big O complexity, and the CAP theorem •Able to assess and evaluate 3rd party components and systems
