Description
• Serve as initial point of contact for legal matters in India. • Integrate into the business as a strategic partner. • Provide advice on a variety of legal issues. • Contribute to risk management strategies. • Draft, review, negotiate commercial contracts. • Advise on risks associated with transactions. • Partner with internal groups on compliance issues. • Ensure adherence to corporate governance best practices. • Oversee local litigation and represent the company. • Work with outside counsel effectively.
Requirements
• LL.B. from a reputable Indian law school. • LL.M. would be an advantage. • 20+ years of relevant transactional experience. • Strong analytical skills for complex legal issues. • Creative solutions to achieve business goals. • Excellent English communication skills. • Experience in the technology industry. • Ability to balance competing demands and deadlines. • Self-starter with ownership of work. • Strong collaboration with stakeholders. • Growth mindset and desire to understand business.
