📋 Description
• Join the WeVote Movement as a (remote) Volunteer Recruiter • WeVote has an open volunteer Recruiter role, aimed at supporting the Talent Acquisition/Recruiting team. • This is a volunteer role, requiring 5-6 hours of time per week. • You will have the opportunity to experience recruiting for many different roles, in a variety of different fields. • We have a VERY strong inbound flow of candidates, so minimal sourcing is required. • Our ideal volunteer is passionate about politics and excited to use technology to educate voters and increase voter turnout. • Therefore, an ideal volunteer Recruiter is also passionate about politics and wants to use those skills to guide volunteers through the interest, interview, and ultimately onboarding at WeVote. • If you are currently an unemployed Recruiter - PLEASE consider applying. • This is an opportunity to "fill in" an otherwise lapse in your resume. • Let's chat!
🎯 Requirements
• Must haves. • You are an experienced TA professional with 1+ years of experience OR You are a recent college graduate who has an interest in a career in Talent Acquisition • You want to work with an established and successful team. • You are committed to strengthening American Democracy. • You are striving for personal excellence, and want to do meaningful work that will make a difference. • 5-6 hours per week, with at least 1-2 hours available during business hours. • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • You are currently located in the US. • Prior experience working remotely. • Desired Any type of prior structured volunteer activity.
