Description

• The DevOps Engineer provides technical leadership, change, consulting and subject matter expertise across multiple technologies and practices to meet customer requirements for rapid service delivery, reliability, and innovation. • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, vendor representatives, and other IT teams/experts to deliver complex and innovative solutions in alignment with WEX strategy and architecture. • Responsible for architecting and maintaining cloud-native platforms, including AWS and Kubernetes. • Provide significant opportunity to research and incorporate new technologies and processes, focusing on automation and platform evolution. • Work directly with development teams to onboard new projects, upskilling developers to use platform features such as CI/CD pipelines and application monitoring.

Requirements

• Strong experience working in complex Cloud Native environments AWS and Azure. • Strong understanding of software technologies and software patterns. • Good leadership skills and ability to engage and collaborate well with identified stakeholders. • Strong experience working with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform and Ansible. • Good understanding of IP Networking concepts. • Experience working in a PCI Compliant environment or an environment that adheres to a compliance framework. • Experience in AWS services EKS, RDS, EC2, IAM, Lambda, VPC. • Knowledge of containerization /orchestration tools Docker/ ECS/K8s, GitOps.
