📋 Description

• Conduct high-level assessments of development efforts. • Design, develop, and test solutions for projects of moderate complexity. • Develop and execute detailed development schedules. • Deliver high-quality software incrementally through iterative development cycles. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer challenges and design scalable backend solutions. • Engage with production support teams to resolve critical issues. • Mentor and coach junior developers and team members to foster professional growth and skill development. • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to identify improvements and upgrades that will reduce cost, improve stability, and increase performance. • Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. • Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, leveraging strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or work experience. • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering. • Demonstrated understanding of core Computer Science concepts, such as object-oriented design, algorithms, data structures, problem-solving, and complexity analysis. • Proficiency with Siebel 20.6 and above (understanding of version-specific limitations and enhancements) • Siebel Tools (configuration, object definition, repository management) • Siebel eScript (custom scripting for automation and business logic) • Siebel Object Manager (OM) (understanding of how it processes user and system requests) • Siebel Open UI (customization, JavaScript framework, UI themes, PM/PR scripting) • Siebel Workflows (design, development, and debugging of workflow processes) • Siebel Scripting (Server-side and browser-side scripting using eScript and VBScript) • Siebel Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) (web services, XML, REST, SOAP integration) • Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM) (batch data imports, exports, and transformation) • Siebel Business Services (custom logic encapsulation and reusable business functionality) • Siebel Web Services (Inbound & Outbound) (WSDL generation, API exposure, integration with external systems) • Siebel Integration Objects (handling structured data exchange) • Siebel Server & Component Jobs Administration (monitoring, tuning, and managing Siebel components) • Siebel Gateway & Enterprise Configuration (architecture knowledge, clustering, failover) • Siebel Performance Optimization (query tuning, object caching, workflow optimization) • Security & Access Control (roles, responsibilities, position-based access control) • Experience with multiple software development processes and lifecycles, including transition to production support teams. • Expertise with SQL scripting and understanding of relational database concepts. • Experience with shell scripts, FTP scripts and PL/SQL packages. • Experience with Oracle, Postgres and snowflake databases. • Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS). • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and middleware technologies for extending Siebel functionalities. • Proficiency in building and integrating APIs within Siebel CRM, including REST, SOAP, and web services to enable seamless data exchange across enterprise systems. • Proven experience administering and troubleshooting Unix/Linux systems. • Experience in cloud native tools and technologies, test automation, containers and data streaming. • Strong knowledge and ability to read, understand and develop database queries. • Experience with Rest, Python, Kafka and Containerization. • Ability to decompose technical solutions into smaller components. • Experience in CI/CD. • Experience with the Siebel enterprise in a cloud environment. • Experience in working with highly transactional, e-commerce, or finance related industry. • Experience with multiple integration points and applications, including Weblogic. • Experience with data quality products, like SAP DQM, integration. • Experience with Oracle 12g database with exposure to PL/SQL. • Experience with source code control integration. • Experience with Big Data offerings. • Experience with user interface design and implementation. • Masters degree in Business or a technical discipline. • Experience with technical design documentation and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
