Description

• Join WEX's Data team as a Jr. Software Engineer to build data platforms. • Engage in design, testing, and coding for data products/systems. • Collaborate with stakeholders to address customer challenges. • Support CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code. • Promote proactive monitoring and continuous improvement for live data products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. • Some experience in software engineering is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Capable of designing a good solution for a small/medium scale problem or component. • Strong implementation skills using languages like Java, C#, Golang, & Python. • Good understanding of data ingestion, cleaning, processing, enrichment, serving, quality assurance techniques and tools. • Some knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling. • Passionate about keeping up with modern technologies and design. • Interested in data and data processing. • Strong willingness and capability to learn new technology and tools quickly when needed.
