• As a Specialist Developer, responsible for designing and creating new applications • Highly motivated software engineer who loves working on small, high performing teams • Collaborative, solid communicator, and work well with teams and stakeholders • Advocate strongly for their position and still be behind a team's decisions • Comfortable working on cloud-based solutions such as micro services, lambda, EKS, EC2 • A solid architect/designer/developer • Worked on agile teams to deliver software iteratively • Passionate about what you do and desire to apply your skills to produce value-add results • Enjoy eating and hanging out with your team in person and virtually • Design and develop new applications • Design and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality • Identify and implement CI/CD methodology for existing and new applications • Expand the team’s knowledge base on automation
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in a related field or equivalent experience • Solid experience in Java 8 (or higher) or a similar language (e.g., C#) • Experience with writing unit test • Strong experience in automating cloud-based applications and services • Experience with Multi-cloud solutions - Azure, Google, Amazon • Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery • Experience with one or more of the following: AWS Cloud Formation, Kubernetes (K8S), Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, ADO, and Puppet • Solid experience in Java 8 or above • Good experience developing infrastructure as code • Experience working on agile teams to deliver software iteratively • Experience with Test automation and Automation Software • Experience with Atlassian tools like Confluence and JIRA • Experience with designing and architecting applications • Experience with Linux, containerization and container orchestration like Kubernetes • Experience with logging, metrics and monitoring tools like Datadog and Splunk • Experience with the fuel business and transaction processing
