Description

• As a Specialist Developer, you'll shape software's future by driving planning, design, development, and testing of applications and systems. • You’ll work with a modern tech stack including Go, MongoDB, and AWS. • We're looking for someone passionate about coding, solving complex challenges, and collaborating with teams. • Detail-oriented and committed to high-quality solutions and new technologies. • A highly motivated engineer who loves working on small, high performing teams. • A mentor who can guide the technical development of less experienced developers. • Comfortable balancing the need to move fast in a regulated space like payments. • Solid engineer with a desire and ability to learn scalable, maintainable software architectures.

Requirements

• Significant and demonstrable development experience • Experience with Golang or Java, MongoDB, AWS, and Terraform • Demonstrable experience developing internal/external web services • Demonstrable experience writing well-formed unit, component, and integration tests and have an in-depth understanding of the test pyramid • Demonstrable working understanding of at least one modern web framework • Demonstrable working understanding of NoSQL and SQL datastores • BDD knowledge; Can demonstrate critical thinking skills through past accomplishments; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; It would be nice if you: • On projects or open-source work you have contributed to in your own time • Experience with systems engineering and automation
