📋 Description

• Use design tools and software applications to provide a variety of technical services • Produce comprehensive framing layouts for floor, roof, and wall systems • Provide design calculations for single structural members • Offer design consultation to dealers, builders, contractors, inspectors, architects, and engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 2-year technical degree OR equivalent construction industry experience • Ability to read and comprehend Residential Wood Frame construction documents • Microsoft Office suite knowledge – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc. • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Residential wood framing construction background (desired) • Working knowledge of CAD and/or estimating applications (desired) • Certification in structural/architectural drafting (desired) • Previous experience with Engineered Wood Products (i-joists, GLB’s) (desired) • Previous Designer or Estimator experience (desired) • Understanding of roof and floor load development (desired)
