Description

• You will be part of a squad who are the front office IT support, providing detailed technical analysis and resolving production incidents coming from a wide range of trading systems. • Your main responsibility is to ensure the smooth technical operation and development of the trading systems under your team’s scope of support. • Be the first point of contact for the customer regarding production incidents. • Act as an interface between the business users, Business Analysts, and the rest of the development teams. • Fixing production problems by providing clear and unambiguous guidelines to the iteration leader/business analysts. • Provide L2 and L3 level application support on technical issues with the rest of the technical squad members. • Work closely with the squad to determine issues and propose solutions. • Operation and problem solving of business applications including monitoring of system jobs, interfaces, and in-house developed solutions. • Response and resolution management of day-to-day user issues related to all types of trading applications. • Specify, design, implement, document, and test business application solutions that integrate consistently into the existing IT system landscape. • Manage changes and small projects with sound change/ project management methods. • Coordinate with 3rd party application vendors, data sourcing agencies to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken English is a must. • MS SQL (Stored Procedures) • C# • .NET • Java • Angular • SSIS • Nice to have: Experience with SSRS, crystal reporting, MS Power BI (or equivalent business intelligence tools) • Knowledge and experience in working within Agile software development framework. • Relevant combination of education, training, or work experience in commodity trading, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Banking, or the equivalent. • In-depth knowledge of Excel VBA and PowerPivot
