Description
• Wheeler Accountants, LLP is seeking a Tax Senior to join the team • Position available in San Jose, California or Remote within the United States • 3-5 years’ experience preparing individual, corporate, partnership and trust income tax returns • Ability to manage current engagements and provide detailed technical review of staff work papers • Strong tax research skills • Knowledge of QuickBooks • Being a client’s “trusted advisor” • Providing detailed technical review of staff work papers
Requirements
• Desire for a career in public accounting • CPA License, EA or passing grades on all four parts of the CPA Exam • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or equivalent, Masters in Taxation is a plus • Ideally 3-5 years’ experience or equivalent in tax preparation & review in a public accounting firm • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office applications • Direct client contact with a mind on keeping clients satisfied throughout the engagement
