• TITLE: Part-Time Controller • STRUCTURE: Remote (Western US) | Approx. 20 hours/week • COMPANY: Details to be disclosed to qualified candidates • The Controller manages all accounting, ensures GAAP compliance, and maintains internal controls. • They lead financial close, reporting, tax, and audits, supporting company growth. • CPA with SaaS/tech experience preferred. • Our client permanently embraces remote work and champions a collaborative, transparent, growth-focused environment. • They also prioritize their employees' work-life balance, overall fulfillment, and professional development. • Responsibilities: • Financial Reporting & Compliance: • Manage financial close, reporting (GAAP), and audits. • Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and internal controls. • Lead tax and regulatory filings. • Accounting & Operations: • Oversee GL, AP, AR, and revenue accounting. • Drive process automation and system improvements (QuickBooks). • Manage cash flow and working capital. • Provide financial insights and reports to leadership.
🎯 Requirements
• CPA (active preferred). • 8+ years accounting, reporting, and compliance experience (Senior/Assistant Controller level). • Expert in GAAP, ASC 606, multi-entity accounting. • SaaS/fintech/tech business model experience. • Advanced QuickBooks/ERP proficiency. • Strong internal controls, audit, and regulatory knowledge.
