• Willdan Performance Engineering inspires and empowers communities by creating transformational environments. • This position is for a Senior Project Development Engineer passionate about energy and sustainability. • The role involves managing project development efforts and leading a team. • Supports business development and coordinates with various teams throughout the project lifecycle. • The individual will help ensure projects conform to client expectations and budget.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or a related field of engineering is required. • PE is preferred. • Additional project development, engineering, and energy related professional certifications are a plus (e.g. LEED-AP, CEM, DBIA). • 10 or more years of progressive project development experience. • Experience in Public Sector energy engineering with Cities, Counties, State Agencies, School Districts, and higher education preferred. • Healthcare engineering or project development experience. • Excellent initiative, and interpersonal communication skills required. • Demonstrates engineering and analytical acumen to develop complex solutions and build credibility. • Experience working on complex projects and interdisciplinary teams of professionals. • Moderate regional travel required with possibility of limited national travel; overnight travel about 20%.
