📋 Description

• Establishes positive, trusting rapport with clients • Diagnoses and treats mental health disorders with the utmost compassion, integrity, and commitment to excellence • Creates and updates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances • Conducts individual and family therapy • Creates individualized therapeutic and experiential opportunities for client • Conducts ongoing assessments of patient progress and coordinates and arranges for services needed on a patient-by-patient basis • Conducts group therapy sessions according to program schedule • Maintains thorough records of patient meetings and progress • Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality • Communicates regularly with outpatient providers to ensure continuity of care • Attends staff and treatment team meetings to consult on individual cases

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field • Must be a fully-licensed counselor, therapist or social worker that is able to practice independently in the state(s) licensed • Minimum of 1 year of experience treating patients with eating disorders and disordered eating • Must be empathic, genuine, self-aware and competent. • Must take initiative, demonstrate sound judgment and demonstrate strong interpersonal and time management skills. • Experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), experiential therapies, family therapy, mindfulness and/or other modalities is desirable. • It is required that the psychotherapist demonstrate understanding of and sensitivity towards issues of cultural diversity including, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, gender expression, weight, and size.
