Description

• Establishes positive, trusting rapport with clients • Diagnoses and treats mental health disorders with compassion, integrity, and commitment to excellence • Creates and updates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs • Conducts individual and family therapy • Creates individualized therapeutic and experiential opportunities for clients • Conducts ongoing assessments of patient progress and coordinates services needed • Conducts group therapy sessions according to program schedule • Maintains thorough records of patient meetings and progress • Maintains client confidentiality • Communicates regularly with outpatient providers to ensure continuity of care • Attends staff and treatment team meetings to consult on individual cases

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted licensure as LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, LPC • Minimum of 1 year of experience treating patients with eating disorders and disordered eating • Must be empathic, genuine, self-aware and competent • Must take initiative, demonstrate sound judgment and demonstrate strong interpersonal and time management skills • Experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), experiential therapies, family therapy, mindfulness and/or other modalities is desirable • Understanding of and sensitivity towards issues of cultural diversity including, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, gender expression, weight, and size
