Description

• Prepare technical design and develop telematics product features using Java/J2EE and Database related technologies • Collaborate with product management teams • Develop service and client-side code and database scripts • Analyze and troubleshoot production issues • Identify root causes of technical issues • Coordinate root cause analysis and problem management • Maintain knowledge of current production system and implement best practices • Interact with project teams for new products development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a relevant field • 7+ years of experience in development and design • Minimum of 4 years of recent experience in Java and J2EE technologies • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) concepts • Production incident and issue management experience • Experience coordinating with stakeholders • Self-driven with ability to work with minimal supervision • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of SOA vs micro services desired • Familiarity with web-based and smartphone-based applications • Knowledge of SSL/TLS certificate related technologies • Good understanding of networking protocols is a plus
