📋 Description
• Operates as a technology contributor in Azure Data Engineering by implementing modern data solutions with Azure Synapse Workflows, Data Pipelines, Notebooks, and SQL data warehousing solutions • Functions as a contributor on large projects and/or task leader on small projects; coordinates own, milestone schedules and related communication; responsible for delivery of an assigned scope of work • Confers with business and IT team members, including cross functional team members, to determine requirements while using best practices to support business needs • Estimates configuration and development efforts for self - assists team members with problem solving related to performance and usage; collaborates across teams as needed • Participates in and supports change management standards and procedures • Authors system documentation for own scope of work • Assists in researching alternative solutions under manager direction; maintains awareness of current technologies and trends • Develops technical and business proficiency through education, work assignments, research and technical/user group participation; demonstrates practical application of learning and actively shares knowledge across functional area • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience • 3-5 years of data engineering full time work experience • experience in the implementation of modern data warehouse architecture as well as data delivery, data modeling, ETL tools, master data management and deployment of highly automated and documented solutions • 2+ years of full time work experience with Microsoft Azure data engineering products: Azure Synapse Studio, Pipelines/Workflows, Python Notebooks, Analytic Pools (serverless), SQL Server Development, and DevOps • 1-2+ years of experience with Python programming and data frames • Working knowledge of Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Cost Management or equivalent tooling • Experience with MS Power BI a plus
