Description

• Act as a technical lead for strategically significant projects • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and regulatory agencies • Provide technical expertise on biosolids treatment and disposal projects • Support project teams, including supervision of engineers, technicians, and other professionals • Conduct site assessments and evaluations of treatment processes and facilities • Prepare technical reports and proposals for clients • Represent the company in industry and professional organizations • Stay current on emerging technologies and regulatory developments in the field of biosolids management • Collaborate with Practice Leaders on Practice approach, technical direction, quality controls, and innovation • Provide leadership in coordinating participation in conferences • Drive positioning of the firm as a market leader in a given technical discipline • Educate Client Managers on successful approaches to advance business development • Prepare and present papers in conferences • Increase visibility through active participation in sponsorship of professional organizations

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, engineering, or a related field from an accredited program (MS preferred) • Broad experience in environmental and engineering consulting business, including project management and technical project execution • Extensive experience in project/program management • Experience in business development, bid, and proposal efforts • Strong motivation to grow an organization • Network of potential teaming partners, sub-consultants, and industry experts • Excellent reputation within the industry • Understanding of business development cycle in consulting business
