• Guide and mentor engineers • Shape the technological vision of the backend environment • Lead efforts to elevate the backend developer experience • Fortify the scalability and adaptability of web applications • Drive the delivery of top-tier solutions • Collaborate with engineers and designers • Optimize APIs performance and stability • Write clean, efficient and maintainable code • Participate in code reviews • Deliver and document technical solutions • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans • Debug and troubleshoot complex issues • Collaborate with support teams to resolve production issues • Establish key performance indicators and metrics • Mentor and coach other engineers • Communicate complex technical issues clearly
Requirements
• 6+ years of experience in building backend services for web applications • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field • Expertise in object-oriented software design • Strong experience in building large scale TypeScript application architecture • Proven experience of building applications with Typescript • Expertise in debugging complex systems • Experience as a technical mentor • Focus on continuous improvement and delivery • Experience developing for service-oriented architecture is a plus • Exposure to SaaS product-engineering development • Understanding of event-driven architecture • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and adaptability skills
