Description
• Kin is on a mission to change home insurance to what it should be. • You'll develop products and features that make Kin’s Engineering team scale. • We run Ruby environments with Typescript front-ends and PostgreSQL. • Collaborate with peers and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
• Track record of incrementally shipping large, complex software projects • Fluid in languages like Ruby, Python, Typescript, Terraform, and Go • Experience with architectural design • Ability to articulate value of technical investments • Ability to operate with some technical guidance • Experience mentoring engineers • Familiarity with modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) • Comfortable in a startup environment • A fast learner, ready to bring previous knowledge to this position and continue developing along the way • Location in Central or Eastern US time zones (CDT & EDT) strongly preferred • At this time, we are unable to sponsor employment visas
