📋 Description
• The technical lead within a team of data engineers focused on insurance data related to claims, policies, products, and more. • Responsible for designing and developing data pipelines and modeling raw data for downstream ingestion. • Ensure quality, integrity, and security of data assets. • Mentor and guide data engineers on the team and collaborate with other teams.
🎯 Requirements
• Depth of experience in modern big data environments. • Experience in a lakehouse environment and built end to end data solutions with modern tools. • Advanced knowledge and experience with SQL and Python, as well as database design. • Insurance domain knowledge to design models and write schemas. • Problem solving skills essential to setting the team and stakeholders up for success. • Ability to connect technical work to business goals and establish trust with stakeholders. • Prioritize data quality and integrity to optimize performance. • Value documentation by maintaining a centralized metadata catalog. • Prioritize security and compliance in a regulated industry.
