Description

• Join Worldpay's Cloud Data Platform team as the Director of Data Engineering. • Drive the global economy and enhance payment processing solutions. • Provide architectural recommendations and enforce data platform standards. • Integrate FinOps principles to maximize cloud ROI. • Collaborate with stakeholders for effective data product outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in computer science or engineering, or the equivalent experience – post-graduate education desired. • 10+ years of Big-Data experience including building data platforms in cloud. • Preferably using AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, equivalent services. • Experience with large-scale Transformation Programs and Fortune 500 companies. • Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques. • Added bonus if you have: • Experience with formal Architecture Frameworks and or building security and network architecture diagrams. • Experience in the Payments and/or FinTech Industry. • Experience in Agile principles and methodology.
