Description

• The DevOps team is dedicated to achieving operational excellence. • In this role, you will work on helping build secure, scalable and highly available platform, collaborating with our product engineering teams. • Design, develop and maintain infrastructure using infrastructure as code tools such as Pulumi/Terraform, Ansible etc. • Develop and implement DevOps practices to improve the overall software development lifecycle. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications are highly available and scalable. • Develop automated build and deployment processes to enable continuous delivery of software releases. • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that infrastructure meets the requirements of the application. • Establish and maintain best practices for cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization. • Participate in code and design reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of code. • Work with peer SRE team to roll out changes to our production environment and help mitigate production incidents. • Collaborate with our platform and operations teams to build, maintain, performance tune and optimize our cloud infrastructure. • Debugging difficult technical problems, and making systems and products both work better. • Educate, mentor and hold the engineering teams accountable to improve the reliability of our systems. • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely troubleshooting and resolution of urgent issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong background in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code. • Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible etc. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP. • Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines. • Strong understanding of network and security concepts. • Experience working in a distributed production environment. • Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management (at least one of Ansible, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a bias toward open, transparent cultural practices. • Ability to work collaboratively across many teams influencing decisions and setting standards. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
