• Are you ready to write your next chapter? • Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. • With proven technology, we process the largest volume of payments in the world. • Join Worldpay, a global community of experts and changemakers. • Looking for a Senior Software Engineer, C# to join our Platforms team. • Payrix by Worldpay provides Payments Facilitation as a service. • SaaS providers can embed payments and financial services in their native experience. • As a Sr. Software Engineer, work with leading edge technology. • Develop core versions of software applications and identify client requirements. • Collaborate to help refine business requirements and evolve our payments platform. • Fully own the services you and your team are building. • Participate in team code reviews and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. • 6+ years’ experience with software development, including expert knowledge of best practices. • Solid understanding of large-scale software systems. • 3+ years’ experience building REST APIs and understands the particularities of building API-first web applications. • Have some knowledge of microservice architectures. • Very strong communication skills, both oral and written. • Clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle stages and best practices around each stage. • Demonstrated ability to technically own the delivery of medium sized features. • Proficient with automated testing and ensuring proper coverage. • Extensive proficiency in provisioning and maintaining project environments. • Experience with basic cloud services for building cloud-native applications. • 2+ years hands-on experience with AWS; certification would be a plus. • Experience with C# and .NET ecosystem. • Desired Experience (not required): AWS Certification, Agile Development experience, CI/CD experience, Experience with Node.JS + TypeScript ecosystem, Experience feeding data to data lakes, Fintech or payments/banking product development.
