Description
• Building automated, scalable services and systems to power our growing infrastructure • Collaborating with an agile team that is passionate about new technologies and delivering high quality and timely code • Working with monitoring and alerting systems to aid engineering and support efforts • Constantly look for opportunities to automate and optimize • Work with Kubernetes solutions across various cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, GCP • Produce quality, testable and maintainable systems with fast feedback loops • Build and enhance infrastructure for serving WordPress on thousands of servers • Be customer inspired and work closely with business partners to incrementally deliver positive outcomes through technology • Develop CI/CD pipelines for pushing code into production
Requirements
• 2+ years software engineering experience • Has worked on an agile team and is passionate about SRE principles • Proficient in Python or Go programming • Expertise working with Kubernetes and containerization • Experience working with Kubernetes orchestration on hosted cloud service like AWS, GCP or Azure • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform. • Understanding of the common WordPress technology stack is desirable: Linux, Varnish, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, and PHP • Has experience (or interest) in: configuration management systems, monitoring systems and computer network technologies
