Description
• The Regional Information Security Officer collaborates with the Business Information Security Officer, regional leadership, and ISO peers. • Defines and implements the regional information security strategy, fostering senior stakeholder engagement. • Implements and manages an ISO27001-aligned Information Security Management System and associated security governance framework. • Coordinates risk management, executive reporting, and decision-making forums requiring security input. • Oversees the identification and mitigation of security risks and promotes a culture of security across all organizational levels. • Manages client security requirements, vendor risk management program, and incident response plan.
Requirements
• Experience of roles in Information Security, IT risk, or IT audit. • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or equivalent; professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CGEIT) preferred. • Familiarity with security and IT technologies (e.g., encryption, firewalls, cloud computing, networking, intrusion prevention). • Understanding of enterprise IT threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices. • Experience with IT/IS governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, NIST-CSF, ISO 2700x) and compliance/audit processes. • Proficiency in risk management, including analysis, mitigation, and monitoring. • Knowledge of information security laws and regulations relevant to WSP. • Good written and spoken English required. • Advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. • Knowledge of other European languages e.g. French, German, Spanish would be advantageous.
