• Consulting for a landscape study on educational and economic opportunities for displaced youth in Chad and DRC. • Assess the education and work landscape for refugees and displaced persons. • Identify stakeholders and opportunities for intervention for refugees and displaced persons. • Conduct systematic review of literature, interviews, and focus groups. • Develop comprehensive reports and recommendations for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in conducting research and evaluation studies related to education and livelihoods, preferably in conflict or displacement contexts. • Demonstrated experience in conducting market assessments is highly desired. • Strong understanding of the contextual challenges in Chad and DRC with a specific focus on displaced populations. • Advanced skills in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. • Strong analytical skills, able to synthesize and analyze complex data sets. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Fluent in English and French, ideally with knowledge of relevant local languages. • Available to work full-time on the project for the duration of the consultancy, including travel to the target regions as needed. • Adhere to ethical research practices.
