Description

• Responsible for coordinating delivery of administrative, logistical and financial management services for the FSSP. • Maintaining and updating relevant project information in manual and/or electronic files. • Communicating with project management stakeholders on strategic and administrative matters. • Assisting in developing, planning, analyzing, evaluating and prioritizing deliverables. • Documenting achievements and results for Technical Specialists. • Preparing and coordinating documentation for scheduled and unscheduled reports. • Coordinating requests for and tracking implementation of support from Technical Specialists. • Coordinating project reviews/lessons learned and sharing information with project team and/or DFATD. • Coordinating logistical services, such as vehicle rentals, travel and missions. • Advising on local government documentation requirements. • Engaging with stakeholders and addressing problems in a timely fashion. • Providing briefings to stakeholders. • Developing/maintaining control systems for action items. • Supporting and researching best practices to expand knowledge on local development issues. • Coordinating, drafting and preparing formal project documents and reports. • Complying with locally applicable laws, regulations and practices.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline such as political sciences, law, business, finance, accounting, logistics, economics, international development, procurement, project management, business administration, engineering, applied sciences; • A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Project Coordinator • Prior experience working in a Developing Country or working with International Development Assistance Stakeholders, preferably in Peru; • Demonstrated experience in supporting the preparation and completion of project documents, including Annual Work Plans and Project Reports; • Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating administrative and logistics services; • Proven experience in communicating with government authorities or their representatives; • Proven experience in supporting the achievement of project progress and results, including dealing with project issues and problems as they arise; • Attention to detail and sensitivity to confidential information; • Demonstrated ability to manage time productively and efficiently and meet changing deadlines; • Able to work effectively in a dynamic team environment (working both independently and as part of a small team).
