Description

• Responsible for design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of new and legacy systems. • Assists customers in identifying systems solutions to meet functional needs, streamline, and ensure patient safety and confidentiality. • Completes assignments driven by vendor application packages for upgrades and enhancements. • Participates in joint application and/or technical development sessions. • Provides class-room training, one-on-one training, and end-user remediation for adult learners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, computer science, business or informatics related field OR four (4) years’ experience working with business, clinical or administrative applications required. • This position may require additional certification in support of the responsibilities of the position, which will be provided by WVUHS Information Technology. • Internal employees must meet all mandatory competencies in current position in order to qualify for promotion within IT. • West Virginia state and Federal criminal background check required for DHHR WV CARES regulated area.
