📋 Description
• This is a remote position. • Our client is one of the fastest growing tech companies in history! • Supporting this rapid growth requires top talent, which could be you. • We are looking for a full time Senior Technical Program Manager to join their platform engineering team. • In this role, your responsibilities will include managing service migrations to the cloud, working with top-level platforms and service owners. • You’ll determine the capacity needed per zone and the burndown rate for the exiting zone. • You’ll run weekly status meetings, communicate issues, risks, and blockers as you plan and execute one migration per quarter (using Jira for task and project management). • As you come up to speed on migrations, you’ll have the opportunity to streamline and create data analytics, metrics, key results regarding health, incidents, and MTTR. • You’ll create and maintain Tableau and Google Looker studio dashboards for team reporting and communications. • This position will be full time US remote, working Pacific time hours.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent practical experience. • 5+ years’ experience in technical program management in a software development or Infrastructure management org. • 2+ years’ work experience as a software engineer. • 3+ years working hands-on with Jira to manage and prioritize tickets, build dashboards, and communicate status (done, in-progress, not started) • Strong Data Analytics skills: Ability to understand and edit SQL queries to unblock self in aggregating/collecting data. • Can build good, informative dashboards with Google Looker studio and Tableau. • Able to use other productivity tools: Slack, Excel, Google Sheets • Grit, passion, energy, and a strong sense of ownership coupled with an appetite for collaboration! • Incredible attention to detail, and the ability to track and communicate those details to stakeholders succinctly and clearly. • Superb communication skills: writing (documentation, procedures, emails, etc.), and verbal (Running meetings, driving actions through influence, reporting to stakeholders).
