📋 Description

• Classify, characterize company-used components, parts, materials and chemicals, and organize and manage them as an integral material library • Create component & material selection and qualification guidelines, standardize testing methods, devise test plates for qualification testing • Support on materials-related subjects such as datasheet interpretation, alternative proposal, application advising • Exploit emerging technology, industry advances and new components, and develop their application scenarios • Review product designs to ensure robust and reliable design-in of components and materials • Lead the root cause analysis of component failures and derive countermeasures • Identify critical components, develop necessary mitigation plans, and lead reliability and quality test • Evaluate supplier technical competency, and conduct supplier selection for key components • Standardize various technical documents and optimize corresponding rules and processes

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or above in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalents • 7 ~ 10 years of experience in design, sustaining, testing or application of electronic/electrical components and products • Good knowledge of electronic components - operating principles, equivalent models, electrical characteristics and application specialties, practical limitations and constraints, especially on power electronics • Good knowledge of component construction – Physical structure and forms, types and classifications, naming conventions, materials, fabrication and packaging • Experienced in application of electronic components, be able to interpret schematics and circuits, analyse component functions and electrical stresses • Proven skills in qualifying, testing, troubleshooting electronic components • Experienced in electronics thermal management and environmental testing • Practical knowledge of electronics design, manufacturing processes and methods, equipment & instruments in Lab or production • Experienced in electronic industry and marketplace, suppliers, vendors and distribution channels • Good understanding of BOM, DMS, PLM/ERP systems like SAP, Oracle • Experienced in engineering change management and process • Good proficiency in English, desirable for Chinese or Vietnamese • Experience in switch mode power supply is a plus • Experience in Power Query, Python/VBA, BI tools are strong plus • Familiar with Microsoft 365 - Office tools, Teams, SharePoint • Result-driven, detail-oriented and passionate for continuous improvements
