•Responsible for developing and evolving Yahoo's design system •Define the technical architecture and select the right technologies •Ensure design system is scalable, reliable, and secure •Collaborate with product teams, designers, and engineers •Mentor and coach a team of engineers •Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
Requirements
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field •5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 1 year in designing and developing design systems •Strong technical leadership skills •In-depth knowledge of design systems and experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite •Expertise in front-end web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript •Experience with modern web frameworks such as React or Angular •Strong communication skills
