Description
• Work on one of the largest distributed storage systems • Solve technical challenges in distributed computing frameworks, data structures, and algorithms • Develop and maintain REST web-services for Yahoo clients • Lead projects and mentor junior team members • Participate in agile development with weekly sprints • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Requirements
• BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) • Minimum 6 years of experience • Experience in implementing and/or operating highly scalable and available services on public cloud environments (AWS, GCP) • Experience with OOP: Java, C++, or similar • Solid understanding of CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, object oriented programming) • Familiar with HTTP and TCP/IP protocol • Experience with development on Unix (Linux) platform • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
