• Lead refinement and improvement of algorithms for Yahoo News • Drive development of core recommendation and ranking models • Partner with cross-functional teams including journalists and engineers • Implement quality assurance processes for algorithm outputs • Analyze ranking performance and conduct A/B tests
Requirements
• 5+ years of product management experience including 2+ years of ML product management experience • Strong technical background in machine learning or recommendation systems • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Quantitative skills for driving insights • Strong entrepreneurial spirit for identifying new data-led opportunities • Excellent communication skills with effective collaboration across stakeholders
