• Use your problem solving skills to address critical infrastructure needs.\n• Develop innovative tools and architectures on top of modern technologies such as Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, RxJava, Coroutines, Firebase Test Lab, Jenkins, etc.\n• Support our continuous integration platform to enable automated tests, static analysis, and automated weekly releases to the Play Store.\n• Mentor other engineers and share the skills you’ve learned.\n• Be a key part of the larger Android developer community at Yelp.
🎯 Requirements
• Several years of relevant industry experience in a platform team focused on improving android developer productivity.\n• Proficiency with Android platform, libraries, frameworks, and tools (ideally Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVI and Jenkins).\n• Ability to work effectively with other teams and stakeholders to drive improvements impacting efficiency for Android engineers.\n• Excited to embrace challenges related to scalability, reliability, and performance.\n• Interest and motivation in building internal tools to ensure a fast and reliable developer experience.\n• Enthusiasm for Yelp’s mission to connect people with great local businesses.
