• Collaborate closely with Designers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience. • Build new features on top of our Service-oriented Architecture. • Iterate quickly using Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment principles. • Articulate a technical vision and execute it. • Help adopt and extend Yelp’s AI-leveraged backend systems • Give back by mentoring other engineers and sharing the skills you learn.
🎯 Requirements
• Several years of relevant industry experience • In-depth experience with building effective APIs (like REST or GraphQL) • Relevant experience in at least one server-side programming language • Strong collaboration and communication skills demonstrated through effective teamwork across design, product, and engineering teams • An eagerness to learn and embrace scalability, reliability, and performance challenges
