📋 Description
•YipitData is the leading market research and analytics firm for the disruptive economy. •We analyze billions of alternative data points every day to provide accurate, detailed insights on ridesharing, e-commerce marketplaces, payments, and more. •This is a fully-remote opportunity based in India. Standard work hours are from 10 am to 7 pm IST. •You are also expected to be flexible in working hours sometimes to participate in the US, China, India collaboration. •We are hiring 2 junior software engineers (alternative title: junior backend engineer). One will join our Infrastructure Team, and the other will join our Data Feeds Team.
🎯 Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related majors, 3+ yrs backend experience. •Solid computer foundation and programming skills, familiar with common data structures and algorithms. •2+ years experience in one of the following languages: Go/Python/C/C++/Java. •Familiar with one of open source components: Mysql/Redis/Kafka/ES/MQ. •Experience in architecture and developing large-scale distributed systems.(for infrastructure team) •Familiarity with one or more of the following: Spark, Hadoop, Hive, or Elasticsearch.(for data feeds team) •Excellent logic analysis capabilities, able to abstract and split business logic reasonably. •Familiarity with email protocols(IMAP/SMTP) is a plus.
