Description

• We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Git and a solid understanding of CI/CD. • The focus of this role is to streamline version control practices, troubleshoot issues, and manage CI/CD processes. • You will act as the primary contact for Git and infrastructure topics, ensuring fast and effective support. • This position emphasizes support over development, with a path to grow into a DevOps role. • Key Responsibilities: Train team members in Git and version control best practices, and provide support for troubleshooting Git issues and CI/CD configurations. Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices. Develop and document best practices for version control and CI/CD, and continually seek to improve these processes. Work closely with Matlab/Simulink domain experts, testing architects, and the AWS and other infrastructure teams to ensure seamless project support. Act as a visible, go-to resource for version control and CI/CD topics, facilitating smoother workflows for the Simulink team.

Requirements

• Git Expertise: Very good knowledge of Git, with experience training others and troubleshooting issues. • CI/CD Proficiency: Good understanding of GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including experience with configuration, limits, and best practices. • Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively. • Basic Simulink Knowledge (helpful but not required): Familiarity with Simulink and SimCaP environments. • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including AWS and infrastructure teams, and maintain effective communication channels.
