• Help support enterprise applications • Participate in shift based 24/7 pager duties • Engage as a key component of the Support team by monitoring and investigating system issues affecting client infrastructure or application • Research, develop, and implement tools to support production environments & system health • Work with a lean-agile team(s) to monitor and maintain scalable and robust systems and web applications
• University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline or comparable experience/education • Solid understanding of Linux, and experience using Linux shell commands to perform maintenance and troubleshooting • Experience with containerized deployments using Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes • Experience with commercial cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, and Azure • Strong interest in microservices-based systems maintenance and debugging • Skillful with open source logging, monitoring, and alerting tools such as Elastic, FluentD, Kibana, Prometheus, and Grafana • Familiarity managing a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment is a plus • Personable and enthusiastic • Ability to work as a team member in a creative, analytical, problem-solving environment
