Description

• Responsible for creating and maintaining backend infrastructure and systems • Design and develop efficient and scalable backend systems • Collaborate with frontend development team • Write clean, well-designed, and maintainable code • Optimise and maintain databases, including MySQL and MongoDB • Utilise AWS services for building and deploying microservices • Create and maintain APIs for seamless communication • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise • Work closely with product and design teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years of professional experience working as a backend engineer • Extensive experience of PHP and the Laravel framework • Experience with AWS or other cloud providers is preferred • Proficient in relational database design and SQL • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservice architecture • Ability to write well-structured, testable, and maintainable code • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Strong communication and collaboration skills
