• Perform data modeling and quantitative analysis to support research projects • Develop, validate, and automate quantitative models using statistics, machine learning, optimization, and simulation • Collaborate with engineering team to implement model productionalization • Prepare detailed customer-facing reports on model selection • Attend conferences to expand analytical skills • Collaborate in a distributed work environment • Perform ad-hoc data analysis • Fulfill related duties and responsibilities

Requirements

• Academic, industry, or research experience in applied mathematical and predictive modeling • Experience with large complex datasets • Proficiency in Python and/or R • Proficiency with relational databases and cloud-based computing • Enthusiasm for sports analytics • Strong communication skills • Bachelor’s degree for entry-level • Advanced training in related quantitative field for senior candidates
