• Utilize advanced data science techniques to analyze and derive insights from combining large-scale healthcare insurance claims datasets with other available data sets. • Develop predictive models and algorithms to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving patient outcomes through a deeper understanding of a patient's clinical profile and precision-match to specialist performance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that address business challenges and support strategic initiatives. • Leverage Python, dbt (Data Build Tool), DuckDB, and Snowflake to build scalable and maintainable data pipelines, transformations, and models. • Perform exploratory data analysis and visualization to uncover actionable insights and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in healthcare analytics and data science.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field. • Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, with a focus on healthcare insurance claims data analysis and modeling. • Proficiency in Python programming language for data manipulation, analysis, and machine learning. • Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) for building and managing data pipelines and transformations. • Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehousing platforms. • Strong understanding of healthcare data domains, including claims data structures, ACO initiatives, and CMS datasets (eg. CCLF files). • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights and data-driven solutions. • Solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. • Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques, such as regression analysis, time series analysis, and hypothesis testing. • Knowledge of machine learning (ML) techniques and its application to healthcare data. • Familiarity with healthcare compliance regulations, such as HIPAA and HITECH.
