Description

• Zensurance is a scale-up InsurTech company that is re-imagining the commercial insurance market. • We want to empower small businesses across Canada to thrive by offering an honest, simplified, and modern approach to insurance. • We are boldly going where no insurance broker has gone before! • Join our Core team to build software for Zensurance’s data collection, rating, and pricing engines using NodeJS and TypeScript. • Coach and mentor lower-level professionals while driving innovative software solutions.

Requirements

• University degree or college diploma in a recognized technical, vocational or academic program (preferably in Engineering or Computer Science) or equivalent work experience. • 2+ years building rich, complex web or mobile applications. • Fullstack experience with NodeJS/NestJS/AWS and the TypeScript ecosystem. • Front-end experience with React/Typescript. • A passion for clean, reusable, and well-structured code. • A passion for continuous learning and self-improvement. • Excellent critical thinking skills and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with team members. • Prior insurance domain knowledge is an asset, but not required.
