📋 Description
• We’re looking for a Legal Counsel at Zerion to take full ownership of legal matters, balancing hands-on work with strategic guidance. • This role requires a mix of independent legal execution and managing external counsel and contractors across multiple jurisdictions, including the US. • If you're a business-savvy legal expert with strong experience in fintech (especially crypto) regulations and contractual law, we’d like you to join our team!
🎯 Requirements
• LLB/LLM or equivalent law degree with 3-7 years of PQE in crypto, fintech, or venture-backed tech startups/companies or consulting crypto companies and startups. • Strong knowledge of US corporate and contractual law. • Experience handling legal matters in fintech, crypto, and financial regulations, including securities laws and KYC/AML frameworks. • Proven experience handling corporate governance, cross-border transactions, and compliance frameworks. • Ability to balance risk assessments with providing practical, business-oriented solutions to effectively mitigate potential issues. • Strong negotiation, drafting, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to independently manage legal matters while effectively coordinating with external legal partners.
