• Develop automated ETL and data workflows • Spearhead product monitoring and quality assurance by designing and owning dashboards and KPIs • Translate product management, engineering, and business constraints and queries into tractable data science questions • Exploring data sets and developing new InsureTech models with data science (Machine learning, Deep learning) • Iterate rapidly on everything; all of the above happens in a fast-paced business-driven environment that you must be comfortable with

Requirements

• BA / BS degree in Math, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics • MS or Ph.D. is certainly a bonus • 2 - 3 years of experience in designing and building ETL workflow and monitoring dashboards • Strong organizational and management skills with past experiences Implementing best practices and processes • Proficient in SQL • Proficient in programming language (Python or R) • Experience working with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, etc) • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada • 1 - 2 years of experience working with imagery and/or geospatial data (Nice to Have) • Working knowledge of modeling framework and performance metrics (Nice to Have) • DBT Experience (Nice to Have) • Prefect (or another workflow tool like Airflow) Experience (Nice to Have) • Data Visualization Experience (Nice to Have)
