📋 Description
• Maintaining accurate financial records • Ensuring compliance • Providing valuable insights into the company's financial health • Bank reconciliations using Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks • Publishing receipts/invoices in Hubdoc or DEXT • Preparing BAS working papers for quarterly lodgements • General admin work during quieter periods (to be assigned on an ad hoc basis)
🎯 Requirements
• Strong understanding of accounting principles • Proficiency in Xero/MYOB/Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel and OneDrive • Experience with DEXT and Hubdoc for document processing • Solid knowledge of ATO regulations (GST, BAS, PAYG and superannuation requirements) • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Strong communication skills, comfortable with video calls (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Messenger etc) • Understanding of privacy laws and best practices for handling financial data
