📋 Description
• Multi-modal routing and real-time transport data focus • Customisation and extension of OpenTripPlanner • Work closely with tech director and senior developers • Liaise with product team to identify features • Develop unit and integration tests • Contribute to documentation
🎯 Requirements
• Prior experience of working with OpenTripPlanner (OTP) or a similar routing engine • Familiarity with data standards such as GTFS, SIRI, NeTEx, TransXchange • Solid knowledge of Java (Scala experience also useful) • Experience with source control (Git preferred) • Continuous integration and unit/integration testing experience • Bash scripting and basic *nix deployment experience • Experience with ETL / Stream processing (desirable) • Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases (desirable) • Commercial experience with Amazon Web Services (desirable) • Familiarity with RESTful API design concepts (desirable)
